Description

KitSgt has produced coins for teams around the UK, though this is the first we have created a run of for general sale.  The design features a well detailed 3D lion holding a flaming torch and a shield, painted with the Thin Blue Line flag.  Text around the outside is taken from the attestation, or oath, I WILL, TO THE BEST OF MY POWER, CAUSE THE PEACE TO BE KEPT.

The reverse side has 4 shields each depicting the 4 nations of the United Kingdom: the English Barbary Lion, the Scottish Thistle, the Welsh Dragon and the Irish Shamrock.  This side of the coin is surrounded by the text KEEPERS OF THE KINGS PEACE, on a matt black background.
